Since I am finally sitting still for the first time in months, I’d like to take this opportunity to reflect on the huge honor it has been to represent the 6thLegislative District in the Maryland House of Delegates. I am truly fortunate to have served my community in such a special way. Being your Delegate was never just a job to me but was always a privilege that I took very seriously.
I walk away from public life a happy and contented man blessed in the knowledge that I have so many great friends and supporters . I am truly humbled by those who stood by me during this last and most difficult election campaign – especially my wonderful wife and family. Please never forget that you all mean the world to me.
I plan to enjoy my retirement and spend more time with my wife and family. I promise never to forget the community where I was born, worked and will always make my home. I pledge to continue walking in my father’s footsteps by giving my heart and soul to our community as a private citizen.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who made the last 12 years such a meaningful journey.
